Dillsboro Luminaries
It is Christmas time and Dillsboro leads the way in the Smokies with its festival of lights and candle lit luminaries linning our streets. Luminaries in 2009 is December 3 and 4 and December 10 and 11. Come on down for a genuine ole fashion Smoky Mountain Christmas!

New Places to find our delicious treats!
Our wonderful truffles, fudge and chocolates are making a name for themselves. You can now find our fudge and some of our chocolates in Gatlinburg-Sevierville, TN at the Beef Jerky Outlets in those towns.
Looking for a great time away in a relaxing setting? The Snowbird Mountain Lodge in Robbinsville, NC is a great place to do just that. You will find our truffles on their dessert menu as well as our fine chocolates for in room special ocasions.

Savory Thumbits ( chocolate covered beef jerky)
The recent rage in chocolate is chocolate covered bacon. We take it a step further and now have chocolate covered beef jerky morsals. We call them thumbits. Try Fire, a hot and spicy beef jerky dipped in chocolate, jalapeno thumbits and garlic thumbits. Our thumbits are made using a great beef jerky made in Knoxville. Want something unique, loaded with flavor, sweet and spicy all at the same time. Try our new thumbits.

Savory Truffles are here!
Want a smooth , but savory truffle? Introducing our Tail of the Dragon and Hot Springs truffles. Tail of the Dragon is a dark chocolate truffle through and through with a touch of jalapeno pepper. Hot Spring is a truffle with a cayenne pepper white chocolate liqour covered in dark chocolate.

New Truffle Line
The Dillsboro Chocolate Factory now makes our own signature truffles, Great Smoky Mountain Truffles! In the spring we rolled out our chai dark chocolate truffle at the Taste Of Chocolate in Waynesville and earned first place honors for the professional division. The rest, as they say, is history. So check out our truffles page for all the new flavors. We are tweaking recipes all the time so new flavors will be added through the fall.

Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts
The Dillsboro Chocolate Factory has teamed up with the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts in Franklin, NC. The Center is a state of the art auditorium seating 1,500 guests and is next to the Fun Factory.
Some of our popular chocolates will be sold in the Center's gift shop and coffee bar. The Center's Grand Opening is July 3rd and will be hosting the Country Music legends...the Oak Ridge Boys.

The Dillsboro Chocolate Factory proudly supports Great Smoky Mountains National Park and joined the Great Smoky Mountains Association (GSMA). GSMA members now recieve exclusive GSMA discounts to our store. Come to the store and show us your GSMA member ID card to recieve your discount.

Taste Of Chocolate Winners
The Dillsboro Chocolate Factory proudly participates in the Jackson Haywood Volunteer Center's Annual Taste of Chocolate. The event is a fund raiser to support the center's mission of supporting volunteer organizations like Meals on Wheels.
Last year the Dillsboro Chocolate Factory took 3rd place with our Aztec Almond Bark. A delicious spicey treat for sure.
This year, we tied ourselves for First place with our dark chocolate chai truffle and white chocolate covered cherries.
